Our logo says we have big dreams, we have great aspirations! And, we wanted to say that if you work hard, dreams can come true, thus the name Dream Team.

We chose Team Galaxy with the tag line "Where stars are born every day" because it focuses on the teammates who make our group so special.

The Trailblazers name was selected by a vote of the Facility Administrators of the team at the Nationwide meeting in early 2006 in honor of Daniel Boone, who was the first American Pioneer and "Trailblazer." He opened up the Carolinas and Virginia moving on to Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio, thus promoting further expansion west.

Based on the definition of fusion: "the process that powers the sun and the stars," we chose a picture of an atom. We believe Team Fusion contributes significant power to the DaVita Star.

The logo was chosen to provide us with a unique identifier. The "A" stands for excellence, and Avanti means "moving or trending forward." The logo and group name are symbols to remind us that we want to continue to get better, do better, be better – always striving to move forward.
