Our Biomedical Technicians ("Biomed Techs") play a critical role in the Village, ensuring that patients have a safe and comfortable dialysis treatment.

Following proper procedures and meeting state and government standards at a dialysis facility are essential in providing the best care for patients. Biomed Techs help the facility meet these high standards by maintaining and repairing all dialysis machines, water treatment equipment and reuse equipment within our outpatient facilities. They ensure these systems are running properly and the equipment is working according to strict specifications.

In addition, Biomed Techs have the opportunity to put their training skills to use, ensuring that Patient Care Technicians, Reuse Technicians and Renal Nurses are knowledgeable about all of the equipment used in the facility.
