Whether our patients choose in-center hemodialysis, at-home hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, our Dietitians are vital members of the health care team.
The Dietitian's goal is to help patients understand the connection between diet and lab values for improved nutritional wellbeing. They also try to educate patients about the potential impact poor lab outcomes can have on health and nutrition over time.
Our Dietitians share their knowledge of which diet choices, including type of food, portion size and frequency, are optimal for individuals who have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, early kidney disease or are being treated on dialysis.
