Help Your Patients Live and Work More Independently 

You became a nurse to improve the quality of life of your patients.  Continue providing exceptional patient care through our Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) program.
This program allows you to educate and support patients who want to self-dialyze in the comfort of their own homes.  Another great perk?  These roles typically offer Monday-Friday work schedules!

The main difference between the PD and Home Hemodialysis (HHD) programs, is that PD filters the patients blood inside the body, requiring fewer equipment restrictions.  This allows our patients to dialyze at home or at work with no assistance required. 

You will be educating our patients on the multiple options which Peritoneal Dialysis offers:

  • Continuous Amulatory - performed four to five times per day without a machine
  • Continuous Cycler - this allows a reduction in the number of daytime exchanges, as an assist machine (called a cycler) is used to do the exchanges, and can be used at night while the patient sleeps
