On Jan. 29, DaVita Degray Dialysis presented Pregnancy Resource Center for Southwest Arkansas with a $1,000 check as part of the “DaVita Way of Giving,” the company’s locally focused charitable giving initiative that helps non-profit organizations throughout the United States grow and thrive.
Pregnancy Resource Center for Southwest Arkansas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established to serve women and men in Southwest Arkansas who are in an unplanned pregnancy situation.
DaVita teammates from Degray Dialysis chose to donate to Pregnancy Resource Center for Southwest Arkansas because of its mission to provide a safe, loving and non-judgmental environment women and men in unexpected pregnancy situations.
“We are pleased to be able to contribute to the effort to offer hope, emotional support and practical help to those in crisis in our community,” said Lisa Spinks, a DaVita RN.
“They give moms and dads one less thing to worry about knowing they have help from somewhere.”
Beverly Hankins of Pregnancy Resource Center for Southwest Arkansas said the DaVita contribution will go a long way to support its mission. “Your financial support makes it possible for us to reach those in our community and Southwest Arkansas who need help and encouragement in unplanned pregnancy situations,” said Hankins.
