November 27, 2013 | A Day in the Life of a Dialysis Healthcare Administrator
Patients arrive throughout the winter months from states all across the country. Occasionally we even have guests from as far away as Germany and France.
DaVita provides all guests with access to a language line for purposes of translation, but most often guests speak English or are accompanied by a friend or family member who speak the language. In the past we've even had teammates who spoke the guest's language.
I find that whether traveling across the country or across the ocean, visiting patients all want the same thing, the comfort of knowing they are receiving care from a team of experienced professionals dedicated to their well being.
Having the opportunity to meet so many new and varied people keeps our daily work experience interesting and learning how dialysis is done in their facilities is educational for us as well!
