GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Ø Provide overall technical leadership to the Development team.
Ø Understand the dialysis business processes as well as all DaVita systems that support the business.
Ø Partner with IT Leadership to develop strategic and tactical plans to deliver projects and meet project objectives.
Ø This position is primarily focused on the CWOW program which is a strategic initiative to develop a new patient centric Clinical application for DaVita Kidney Care.
Ø Collaborate with business users, Requirements, Architecture, DevOps and other IT teams to design, develop and deploy the best solutions to ensure high level of customer service.
Ø Work closely with the Architecture team and Technical leads to deliver technical design, patterns and best practices for development using IBM BPM, IID, ODM, eXtreme Scale, APIGEE, Denodo, RedHat Fuse, Jenkins, GIT etc.
Ø Establish processes, templates, and tools required for design and development.
Ø Guide and mentor Developers in above technologies and best practices.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Ø Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Ø Excellent time management, decision-making, problem solving, presentation, documentation, planning and organization skills.
Ø Expertise in designing Service Oriented Architecture, large scale software design and development.
Ø Expertise with IBM Business Process Manager (BPM), Operational Decision Manager (ODM), IBM Integration Designer (IID), eXtreme Scale or similar products.
Ø Experience in modeling simple and complex business process definitions.
Ø Experience in advanced integration services (Web service integration, Java integration, Content Integration).
Ø Experience in Continuous Integration/Deployment and automated testing.
Ø Expertise in Agile methodologies with geographically dispersed teams on-site and off-shore.
Ø Experience in multiple technologies including Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Java Script, AJAX, HTML, XML, Web Services, JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere, Oracle, DB2.
· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
· 10+ years of software architecture, design and development experience.
