About this role:


Our CFO will be a highly visible executive who will work closely with all members of the Paladina senior leadership team, physicians and leaders of DaVita Healthcare Partners, Inc. to achieve the goals of the enterprise. The CFO will be expected to fulfill various operational and general managerial responsibilities incumbent upon a senior leader of the organization. The CFO will also be integrally involved in strategic financial models and decisions for Paladina Health growth.  This includes development of the management of Paladina Health’s long-term financial plan and each year’s operating budget.


Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO is responsible and accountable for the day-to-day execution of all Finance functions, to include providing leadership to finance, accounting and billing teams, measuring financial and operating performance analytics and using this information to drive organizational decision-making.  Our CFO will serve as a vital member of Paladina Health’s Roundtable (core team), participate/lead financial reviews with both DaVita and Paladina Health’s leadership teams and build collaborative partnerships across DaVita’s matrixed organization.


More specifically, we are looking for a:


Strong Business Consultant – Understand finances, inside and out, but recognize that the real value is generated through collaboration and innovation with an exceptional business instinct.  Develop, execute, measure and evaluate data, provide accurate reporting and drive analysis with the field and senior leadership.

Entrepreneurial Leader – Humble, hungry & smart! Thrives in a rapidly-evolving environment; deals well with ambiguity, and changes direction as needed within a large, fast-paced, complex organization. Team-player & servant leader who constantly asking how s/he can better support his/her teammates.

Strategic Planner - Results-oriented and "gets stuff done". Ensure cost savings and business performance improvement initiatives are developed, implemented, tracked and continuously improved.


Growth Manager - Address top growth priorities, provide due diligence and lead successful operational conversions on acquisitions. Significant experience in building, fixing, and evolving systems and processes for a growing organization


Cultural Ambassador - Service-focused; seeks to deliver great customer service to external and internal customer. Strong track record of living Paladina's core values (Service Excellence, Integrity, Team, Accountability, Passion, Innovation, and Fun)


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred)
  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (preferred)
  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ management experience, healthcare experience a PLUS!
  • Extensive experience with financial systems and financial reporting
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Proficiency with software tools (e.g. SQL, Access, Excel, Crystal Reports)
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
