Here's what you can expect as a Director of Integrated Care Strategic Operations at DaVita:
The Director, Integrated Care Strategic Operations, will work on a CEO and Board of Directors top 3 objective: transforming our dialysis centers into integrated kidney care centers, where we aim to provide the comprehensive and preventative care each patient needs to be healthier in the new value-based healthcare world. This teammate will be a leader, innovator, and experimenter in developing this model, collaborating with several teams across the Village on this executive driven transformation. This position blends innovative strategic thinking with operational execution. Core activities include: piloting new clinician roles and responsibilities, developing new clinical interventions with our clinical team, creating new field facing tools and management processes, improving physician partnerships and workflows (e.g. care coordination), and agile developing new population health technology.
The Integrated Care Director will lead a team of highly-motivated individuals with consulting, process engineering, change management, and/or clinical experience. This highly visible and cross-functional role will work directly with Kidney Care leadership and present out to the DaVita Kidney Care CEO and COO on a regular basis.
Key responsibilities are spread across three categories:
•Contribute to setting the kidney care integrated care strategy for the next 5 years and developing plan to execute against vision
•Partner and collaborate with key teams across the Village to drive this strategy to fruition, including the Clinical Enterprise, the Pioneer process improvement team, and IT
•Prepare and present materials for meetings with executives including the CEO, COO, CMO and various executive
•A integrated care thought leader in developing the next generation teammate facing IT systems
•Proactive sourcing of innovation including gap analysis of where new products could enhance clinical quality and teammate efficiency
•Reactive sourcing of innovation including evaluation of grassroots ideas generated by teammates or submitted by vendor service partners
Pilots and experimentation
•Responsible for developing and running experimentation pilot sites, collaborating with local operations leadership and front line teammates to iterate field designed solutions
•Identifying gaps in change management, roles, workflow, and systems needed to achieve our short and long term goals
•Leads strategic projects including hypothesis development, research, insight generation, and business recommendations
Travel: 25-40% of the time
