DaVita Rx, the nation's largest kidney care pharmacy and an emerging provider of specialty drugs for multiple disease states, is seeking an experienced HR Manager (we call this role a People Services Manager) to be based in our Coppell, TX location.
At DaVita, the People Services Manager (HR Manager) is an integral member of the People Services leadership team for assigned segments of the business, acting as the trusted advisor on strategic human resources (HR) and other matters which impact business results. This People Services Manager is accountable for delivering extensive HR capabilities to both frontline teammates and leadership across all locations.
This position is responsible for identifying organizational, cultural and people initiatives that are aligned with strategic priorities, ensuring compliance, and driving business success.
The role entails knowledge and capability in the areas of talent management, leadership development, organizational design, internal consulting, training, teammate development and compensation.
The PSM strategically partners with various corporate centers of excellence to drive positive outcomes for the business and is vital in implementing corporate initiatives.
ESSSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in and/or lead a variety of projects including, but not limited to, Engagement Survey, Village Award, Open Enrollment, Talent Review, Roadmapping positions across the enterprise and Focal Compensation planning.
Leverage data and analytics to help drive key people and organizational decisions, opportunities and actions. Complete organization diagnosis/assessment to understand various lane and departmental challenges; develop action plans for assigned group(s) to drive people services solutions for the business.
Partners with leadership at all levels via a consultative, proactive approach.
Leverages knowledge of the various lines of business, job functions, and overall strategic direction to recommend strategic People Services programs, initiatives and processes. Utilizes data/analytics to identify emerging HR issues and trends affecting the business at both an enterprise and team level, creating and implementing solutions to meet those needs.
Implement talent development activities (e.g., workforce planning, performance management process, succession planning, and leadership development), while utilizing best practices and tools from the corporate talent management team.
Partner with other People Services Managers and Directors to ensure appropriate balance and consistency between local solutions and company-wide practices.
Implement programs that foster communication and create favorable work environments at all levels of assigned areas. Develop and track measurements to support expected outcomes.
Design, develop and deliver best-in- class People (HR) Practices through training, education and facilitation, partnering with internal teams to meet local business requirements. Act as an expert in organization design to assist with structural changes, and facilitate and act as a change management champion for this and other changes.
Partner with Teammate Relations and DaVita’s Justice League on employment issues including but not limited to at-risk terminations, subpoenas, investigations and lawsuits as necessary. Know, understand, implement, follow, communicate, and ensure compliance with all DaVita employment policies and procedures.
Determine and execute local implementation plans to assist in rollout of corporate People Services programs and initiatives.

The Shining Star for this role will have the following required education, skills and experience:
Proven experience in Talent Management processes (workforce planning, performance management process, succession planning, creating competencies for a large variety of roles across the enterprise and leadership development and professional development)
Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, or related discipline, Master’s Degree highly preferred
Ability to travel an average of 1 night per week, including to Denver, and other Rx pharmacy locations across the country, for professional development, offsite meetings and various business meetings for business units supported.
