DaVita Rx is starting up a new Outside Sales Account Executive Team in the greater Los Angeles, CA market and is looking to expand its sales team.
The Specialty Pharmacy Sales Account Executive is responsible for representing DaVita Rx as an industry leading therapeutic disease state, market, and product specialist with key office and institution based physicians within a defined Specialty healthcare market.
This Sales Account Executive will be responsible for partnering with a diverse range of primary care and specialty healthcare professionals, who may practice in a broad spectrum of healthcare settings within a defined market. They will need to understand and communicate with key customers/staff, manage programming, facilitate collaboration and communication with other Integrated Health Partners and Specialty Representatives across their market to improve patient care by delivering value to the healthcare professionals and systems they support.
Work Location is greater Los Angeles area, requiring up to 75% travel, mostly day trips 4 days a week. Some overnights and off sites as needed throughout the year. Will typically work from your own home office 1 day a week.
Duties and Activities of the Specialty Pharmacy Sales Account Executive:
Develop and manage relationships with External physicians and their staff in support of our Specialty business goals and metrics, primarily those physicians that support care for Oncology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Hematology or Neurology
Cultivate relationship with Health Care Partners Account team; work collaboratively with leadership to ensure partner satisfaction.
Act as primary point-of-contact for accounts, customer liaison for the pharmacy
Convey the DaVita Rx Specialty Pharmacy value proposition to all involved parties
Provide customer service support including issue resolution
Strategic Account Planning
Analyze data to determine opportunities to optimize medication utilization for revenue/profit maximization including patient segmentation opportunities
Drive revenue for the business through increasing patients on service
Develop opportunity map & tailored plans to address account needs across the various functions and levels
Ensure alignment of accounts’ goals with Specialty business platform goals
Create control and oversight strategies to ensure execution to plan
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed
Utilize multiple technology platforms to manage accounts
Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
Follow expense guidelines and budgets
Submit paperwork and perform administrative tasks in a timely manner
Work with cross-functional teammates to build the right service and fulfillment model
Partner with Marketing to design educational tools and presentations for a variety of audiences (i.e. patients, physicians,)
Maintain current knowledge of DaVita Rx Pharmacy services and benefits
High Contribution to the rest of the account management Team through sharing successes and BDPs, Innovating, and Utilizing Creativity to drive unique business solutions.
THE SHINING STAR IN THIS ROLE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPEREINCE AND EDUCATION:
A minimum of 3 years prior Sales experience with Physicians that specifically provide Oncology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Hematology or Neurology care as primary customer, prefer 5 plus years.
A proven record of consistently Exceeding Sales Quotas
Advanced presentation skills to a variety of audiences (size, education levels, roles and responsibilities)
Professional presence and excellent presentation skills
Strong analytical proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint required
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively
Advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to travel extensively (up to 75%) throughout the Los Angeles area - all day trips
