Position Description

The ideal candidate for this career opportunity will be a quick-learner, ambitious and ready to learn. The person in this position will have a strong sense of "team" and have the keen ability to work well with others. Basic requirements are a Bachelor's Degree (we need to be able to tell you like numbers!), some work experience (this includes internship experience), intermediate to advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 

Here's what you can expect as a Financial Analyst at DaVita:


Provide strategic and administrative support to Kidney Care divisional leadership team. Position may require travel within the operating group which encompasses much of the Southeast. 


Under direction of the DVP/ROD, the analyst is required to support leadership team within the operating divisions performing administrative, strategic, and special projects / tasks as required. Analyst will be required to create and present deliverables to varying levels of responsibility within the Division.



·         Strategic:

o   Prepare PowerPoint decks for strategic reviews

o   Provide analysis for special projects (e.g. DeNovos, competitive response strategies)

o   Assist in the creation of DeNovo models and project involvement

o   Lost deal analysis and growth opportunities

o   Provide analysis using census management tools (e.g. Sabremetrics)

o   Project management tracking / serve as Divisional lead for new initiatives

o   Budgeting for expense management (e.g. teammate morale and clinic improvement)

·         Administrative:

o   Assist with new teammate onboarding and recruiting

o   Schedule meetings as required

o   Schedule time / follow-ups with physicians and hospitals

o   Organize meetings with physicians and discharge planners

o   Manage spreadsheets as required

o   Assist with booking / reserving needed travel and events for teammates

  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • High proficiency with analytical tools and resources (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Flexibility to perform both administrative and strategic tasks
  • Ability to meet timelines and prioritize tasks as required
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow teammates
