Works with the business development team to implement and drive the analytical work required to build new vascular centers in geographies where there is opportunity to improve the availability and quality of patient care. Assess local growth strategies including patient demographics, physician prevalence and competition.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-Perform detailed due diligence on prospective acquisitions and build a comprehensive financial model that considers due diligence findings for new market opportunities and expansion of existing facilities.
-Create financial analyses that highlight risks to the business and be able to translate into executive level PowerPoint presentations.
-Critically review legal documents to ensure consistency with all factors considered in financial model and identify situations that may represent compliance risks.
-Identify areas for process improvement to expedite cycle time from deal inception through execution. Develop implementation plans for suggested changes
-Offer insights about potential service offerings or other services not currently provided by the company that improve Lifeline’s value propositions for target physicians and business stakeholders.
-Meet with customers and prospects on an as-needed base to learn market needs and to improve Lifeline’s ability to “speak” to target physician and business needs.
-Expertise with advanced statistical analysis and research methodologies
-Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Expert level Excel financial modeling skills
-Financial accounting exposure/ planning & analysis background (preferably 3+ years)
-Experience w/ mergers/ acquisitions
-Experience w/ legal documents/ contracts (not purchasing/payer contracts)
-2 years' experience working in healthcare services
-Exposure to financial systems (ex: Oracle, SAP, Business Objects)
