DaVita Rx, located in Coppell, Texas is seeking a Sr. Analyst for our Compliance Team. 

The Sr. Compliance Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting operations data in addition to providing the analytical support to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of these areas.  The Analyst will also be responsible for summarizing and reporting data to Compliance and Operations management teams.


The Analyst will be expected to leverage a thorough understanding of business processes and supporting technology infrastructure to re-design and improve existing business processes. This role requires heavy data mining and measuring missed opportunities.


Accountabilities and Deliverables: 

  • Identifies and assesses areas of compliance risk. Documents findings and recommendations and. Drives development and monitors completion of pharmacy plans of correction.

  • Prepares, analyzes and reports compliance trends. Recommends improvement strategies and leads resolution of issues identified.

  • Maintains regulatory expertise by participating in continuing education opportunities, reviewing professional publications and attending educational workshops.

  • Reviews, evaluates and assists in the development and implementation of facility/entity policies, procedures and guidelines as they relate to regulatory compliance.

  • Provides leadership to understand business activities and provide analyses for improving operational efficiency and productivity

  • Leads across organizational functions to analyze, interpret, and summarize multiple and complex streams of data

  • Work collaboratively with individuals across departments to develop strategies and plans that address root cause issues and place controls

  • Spearheads special projects, structure the work, manage the process, drive the right set of analyses, and present the answer to senior executives through a compelling storyline

  • Organize, prioritize, and project manage requests from cross-functional teams

  • Effectively set milestones and execute across diverse groups of stakeholders

  • Prepare presentations and reports on results of data synthesis

  • Demonstrate an aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations and an ability to synthesize ambiguous data into concrete insights

  • Drive multiple projects forward simultaneously with a willingness to stretch "up" and "down" in responsibilities

  • Effective interpersonal skills: confidence with subject matter and a "calm under pressure" approach and style

  • Skills in effective execution, including managing multiple complex activities and high-level client relationships is imperative

  • Write queries/scripts/programs necessary to generate data output and reports, and to input historical and current data.

  • Apply a wide variety of high-level statistical and mathematical techniques to complicated processes for modeling, forecasting, profiling, and other complex analytical problems.

  • Gathers and refines business requirements for reporting deliverables that:

  • Meets customer and project specifications.

  • Translates requirements into clear and concise business rules to be implemented by report developers.

  • Performs complex data analysis and investigation for:

  • Ad-hoc and standing customer requests.

  • Explaining results/trends, making recommendations, and offering tactical solutions.

  • Creating and executing SQL queries (Oracle or SQL Server) within relational and star schema databases for analysis, problem solving and evaluating data quality/validity.

  • Research new and existing data sources in order to:

  • Contribute to new development.

  • Improve data management processes.

  • Recommend data quality initiatives.

  • Develops a proactive methodology and approach for effective data management by collecting, analyzing and reporting on disparate data sources.

  • Ability to navigate and understand SQL queries within Microsoft Access databases.

  • Maintains detailed documentation and provide follow up timely and consistent communication regarding the status of any issues.

  • Respond quickly and efficiently to ad-hoc requests/issues.

The Shining Star in this role will have the following desired Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with complex based data in an advanced (manually extracting data) analytical function

  • 2+ years in reputable management consulting firm a strong plus, preferred

  • Advanced data mining

  • Advanced knowledge of PC and server-based databases and tools such as MS-Access, MS-Excel, Oracle, SAS datasets, MS-SharePoint, and COGNOS

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing major process improvement/redesign, organization change, or transformation programs within a large organization is required.

  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated working knowledge of statistical models and methodology- able to get to true root causes of issues

  • Confident and persuasive in presenting and visualizing data based insights to a wide audience (of varying degrees of management, business functions)

  • Able to translate ideas and recommendations into a practical implementation plan

  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated working knowledge of SQL programming

  • Must have strong regression analysis experience

  • Proactively engages team members in problem solving.

  • Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files for analysis.

  • Proven experience in efficient navigating relational databases. 

  • Ability to estimate and meet realistic timelines, perform under pressure, and react to changing priorities.

  • Experience and a demonstrated successful history of business analysis leading to process improvement.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and Outlook required.

  • Business process redesign experience

  • Outstanding project management skills

  • Excellent presentation skills (written and verbal)

  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail

  • Advance Excel experience is required
