DaVita Rx, located in Coppell, TX is seeking a Compliance Manager, Operational Controls.
The Operational Controls Manager is a central point-of-contact for regulatory agencies and issues, ensuring organizational compliance with DaVita Rx’s compliance program requirements.
The Operational Controls manager will oversee compliance monitoring components for DaVita Rx as it pertains to Operations, Clinical Technology, Pharmacy Practice and Segments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Operational Controls improvement efforts established by the business and operations leadership.
Manage Operational Controls resources to optimize resources and align to business strategies
Manage projects end to end which align with business strategies and drive continuous improvement, working closely with Operations, Process Engineering, Operational Excellence and Learning and Development stakeholders/teams.
Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
Define Operational Controls procedures in conjunction with operations team mates and leadership.
Design, deploy and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
Develop, implement, communicate and maintain control and audit plans to bring the Company’s Systems and Policies into compliance with industry norms.
Assist in gathering, analysis and presentation of data pertaining to Operational Controls initiatives
Partner with the Reliability team and support addressing issues, root cause analysis, remediation, corrective action and preventive measures.
Monitor performance by managing relevant data and production of statistical reports.
Assist in developing a culture of Compliance throughout DaVita Rx to create teammate ownership of Compliance in daily activities including documentation, development and review, continuous improvement projects to address gaps in current processes or controls.
Assist in continuing education throughout the pharmacy around “Continuous Quality Improvement” which may include but is not limited to LEAN Six Sigma and DaVita’s internal CQI concepts.
Maintain current knowledge of Operational Controls and Compliance department operations, issues and trends through education, seminars, and research.

Travel required: up to 20%
Bachelor’s degree in related healthcare discipline,
1-4 years of experience managing Quality, Compliance, Process and/or operations teams
4+ years of experience in a process/compliance/quality improvement role including
Experience in Quality or Compliance preferred
Experience in Quality or Compliance systems and implementation of Quality or Compliance tools including Six Sigma principles preferred
Experience in implementation of formal quality or compliance systems strongly preferred
Experience in start-up organizations with aggressive growth plans preferred
Demonstrated understanding of process improvement preferred, LEAN preferred
Experience in pharmacy and/or healthcare a plus
Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
