Senior Analyst - Transactions

Position Description

This position is part of the Strategy & Development Group and participates as a core member and contributor to Nephrology Practice Solutions, the strategic business initiative at DaVita responsible for partnerships with nephrology practices. We have an exciting growth path ahead of us and we are driven to win. The primary responsibilities are to execute a wide range of transactions, with a core focus on physician practice acquisitions. The role requires transaction experience, excellent quantitative skills, an ability to navigate complex negotiations, and preferably, experience closing deals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the deal model and bring a willingness to learn the transaction process and business strategy
  • Collaborate with management and functional teams to develop business cases and rationales to evaluate opportunities
  • Expertise in screening and analyzing potential opportunities for strategic fit and conducting business due diligence
  • Participate in  transaction process to execute a wide range of strategic activities, including, but not limited to, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and minority investments

Qualifications

Qualifications: 
  • 2+ years transaction and financial analysis experience 
  • Experience at an investment bank, private equity firm, strategic consultancy or corporate development group preferred
  • Healthcare provider experience
  • MS Office proficiency, including high-level expertise with Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent deal modeling skills
