Position Description

The Manager of Business Development is responsible for identifying and establishing partnerships within DaVita. The manager is responsible for leading a team tasked with supporting sales growth targets and promotion of products and initiatives within DaVita’s Physician IT team. The position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.


  • Establishing partnership strategy with DaVita’s field operations team and other departments within the company, referred to as “the Village”.
  • Responsible for development and implementation of marketing and communication plans informing and educating the Village of products and initiatives offered by DaVita Physician Solutions.
  • Building advocacy channels throughout company to promote the adoption and implementation of products and policies.
  • Collaborating with legal, finance, operations, commercial and product development departments.
  • Assists in development of presentations, materials, and meetings.
  • Works closely with Marketing to coordinate various campaigns including: email, events, and webinars.
  • Work with national Sales team to create sales and financial reports including revenue reports, sales forecasts, and other reports as assigned.
  • Must be able to work nights and occasional weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Coordinate trainings for national Sales team.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
  • Positive attitude in a demanding, fast-paced, and high growth startup environment
  • Exemplary organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Strong senior executive engagement and support skills
  • Exceed expectations and hold yourself accountable to a higher standard of excellence
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills – writing samples required
  • Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • 5+ years of related professional experience with complex technical solutions preferred
