Position Description

Position trains teammates on how to use clinic-facing software in Lifeline’s Access Centers and Central Business Office as well as acquisitions and DeNovos. Position leads and manages assigned tasks or projects and performs business analysis functions relating to multi system use within Lifeline.
  • Train teammates on NextGen EHR/EPM/ICS
  • Set up appropriate NextGen EHR/EPM/ICS for existing facilities, business offices, acquisitions and DeNovos

o    Participate in Lifeline deployments of new software or IT processes

·         Function as primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) on NextGen EPM/EHR

·         Review training tools created and provide expert opinion in writing to the project group or content writer 

·         Represent the training team on conference calls with project customers or stakeholders

o    Determine training needs as projects are initiated or software is changed

·         Create job aids and/or training scripts as needed

Test software systems during patches, upgrades, and new facility openings to ensure stability for release to Lifeline

·            Conduct regional or divisional classroom training as needed 

·            Maintain limited individual territory for virtual and/or on-site training reviews and learning action plans

o    Conduct periodic virtual and/or on-site facility visits as needed to review action plans and train teammates on any deficiencies

o    Conduct live instructor-led and Web-ex virtual training as required

·            Ensure high level of communication and collaboration with facility teammates

·            Research, develop, and prepare interactive training materials

 

o    Document in standardized template and submit for Manager and/or Executive approval prior to being used

Maintain records of training activities within timelines established including but not limited to data entry into the StarLearning system for Lifeline tracking; post to the Starpoint site as applicable; post to ShareFile as applicable

·         Provide leadership for project initiation, implementation, maintenance, and follow through  

o    Provide direction to team members for the assigned project

o    Provide written input on team member performance for specific projects

o    Monitor project progress

o    Escalate potential risks associated with the project to the Project Team  

o    Build the case for a project, negotiate the overall scope and requirements at the highest customer-focused level, obtain team alignment and agreement on the project definition

o    Ensure project teams know and understand project direction, purpose, and strategies

o    Participate as needed in the development of project tasks and tools  
Prepare or contribute to monthly project status reports

·         Join, attend, and/or participate in assigned external departmental committees or task forces as required

·         Know, understand, support, and adhere to region, division, and/or company policies and procedures

Initiate and/or participate in CQI projects as needed or requested
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:

o    Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed

o    Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures

o    Maintain current knowledge of external and Lifeline specific hardware, software, and network technology

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated ability to train adult learners and inexperienced computer users and adapt to individual learning styles
  • Demonstrated project management and leadership experience

  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required; advanced proficiency in NextGen EHR/EPM/ICS required as well as virtual training tools and Internet search engines

  • extGen Certification, EHR, PM, Document Management and System Configuration preferred
