Position Description

DaVita Rx offers you the unique opportunity to apply your Pharmacy Technician (PT) skills in a specialized way in our Adherence group within a call center environment. The goal of the team is to improve clinical outcomes of DaVita renal care patients who are using our pharmacy services. This is accomplished in multiple ways by outbound calls to our patients and functioning as a bridge between the patient and the pharmacist. The hours for this position are 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

As an Adherence Pharmacy Technician, you would make out-bound calls to patients who are not on automatic refill status.  The calls focus on verifying with patients their current prescription therapy, asking if they are taking as prescribed, and in general, functioning as a bridge between the patient and the pharmacist with the goal of improved clinical outcomes for the patient.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification required; in good standing with State Board of Pharmacy
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook 
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Ability to work 11am - 8pm
