Position Description

Develops and maintains reporting of the financial performance of Lifeline Centers, JV partnerships and Central Business office. Performs cost center-level budgeting and planning including preparation of trend and variance analyses on center, region and corporate levels.  Trains Center Managers and Regional Operations Directors on budget process and coordinates timelines and deliverables with Center Manager’s, ROD’s, Director of Finance and others in Operations Groups.  Participates in JV meetings to the extent required and appropriate to fulfill Lifeline’s commitments and build partner relationships.  Potential for direct reports after a period of time in the role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads and performs monthly analysis on operation's variance to budget and YOY trending. Identify focus areas and prioritize action plans where applicable

  • Quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting bottoms-up support and coordination for all facilities and assigned business departments; Facilitates analysis, reporting and presentation of final budgets

  • Prepare and participate in quarterly reviews with joint venture partners (physicians, hospital and/or university administration and agents) on financial and operational performance of joint venture operations; proactive partner communications and support as needed throughout the year

  • Partners with Field Operations and Business Development teams to analyze, review and contribute to overall Lifeline strategy development and execution including existing center growth, new center growth, acquisitions, physician partnerships, and other growth opportunities. 

  • Works with the Business development team to support financial modeling of relocations, expansions, new service lines, new-build/construction, joint ventures and financings to support growth activities for division

Qualifications

Specialized Experience, Education, Training, or Qualifications 

  • Minimum of five (5) years financial analyst experience with demonstrated quantitative skills and analytic ability  
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase and Outlook 
  • MBA or Business related field
  • Healthcare Experience
  • Previous experience in financial management and/or analysis, consulting, or investment banking is preferred
