Position Description

DaVita Healthcare Partners is seeking a Coordinator to join the team that is responsible for managing our growing Redwoods Leadership Development Program. Redwoods Programs include emotional intelligence and technical training courses, clinical and management shadowing, executive exposure sessions, training with functional departments, and leadership mentoring.  Assist with designing curriculum and developing new programs.
The Redwoods Coordinator will be responsible for all administrative duties and participate in design and development of Redwoods programs.
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.
Planning and Organizing
  • Manage project plan, track completion status of tasks, adjust timelines, identify risks and issues
  • Manage data entry and organization of participant databases
  • Schedule conference calls, meetings, presentations and travel between Redwoods teammates, Directors, Vice-Presidents, and program participants
  • Develop program agendas, schedule presenters, and track updates
    Program Logistics
  • Arrange event logistics including, hotel accommodations, facility management, food and beverage, signage, audio visual support, travel and transportation logistics, shipping and handling, program materials, special needs, printing.
  • Negotiate contracts or serve as on-site contact with service providers and suppliers including hotels, vendors, and speakers.
  • Provide on-site support for room setup, catering, dissemination of materials, and team support  
  • Provide support in the new hire, on-boarding, and orientation process with the People Services (HR) department.
    Curriculum Design and Materials Development
  • Assist in development of curriculum design, working with subject matter experts 
  • Participate in creation of learning materials/media
  • Aid development of metrics to evaluate curriculum effectiveness
    Communications and Reporting
  • Draft communications for onboarding, event briefings and logistics for program participants and leadership
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, analyze program feedback, summarize themes and identify key messages
  • Draft presentations on program performance including program scores, summary of wins/areas of improvement
  • Read trade publications, attend seminars, and consult with other learning management and meeting management professionals in order to keep abreast of standards and trends.
  • Must be able to perform in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Exceptionally strong (1) organizational and multitasking skills, (2) verbal and written communication skills and (3) continual attention to detail

• Demonstrated initiative and proactive, creative problem solving skills

• Demonstrated ability to take a project from start to completion with minimal supervision

• Ability to possibly work 1-3 hours per day of overtime during busy season

• Demonstrated organization in scheduling multiple events using Microsoft Outlook

• Demonstrated ability to use internet and Microsoft Office Suite

• Exceptional customer service orientation both externally and internally with team

• Must be trustworthy and be able to keep matters highly confidential

• Must be able to hold self accountable for commitments and deadlines.
