We are actively recruiting a Manager to join our Corporate Finance Team reporting in to the Head of Finance for U.S. kidney care.  The team is responsible for financial planning/budgeting & analysis for our U.S. kidney care operations as well as enterprise wide G&A expense management.  Additional items include delivering strategic business insight to executives on key elements of the Company’s operations and partnering with management on the shorter term needs of current business units/functional areas.
 
We are looking for an innovative and creative individual who has a desire to challenge paradigms while working as thought partners with leaders throughout the Company.  This Candidate will work with a team of highly motivated individuals and is expected to effectively manage individual work streams and communicate analyses effectively within the team and with senior executives.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate monthly metric reporting for executive management along with additional monthly reporting duties
  • Interface with management at all levels within the organization
  • Partner with regional finance team providing value and streamlining processes
  • Spearhead special projects, structure the work, manage the process, drive the right set of analyses, and present the answer to leadership through a compelling storyline
  • Aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations, ability to synthesize ambiguous data into concrete results
  • Ability to drive multiple projects forward simultaneously; willing to stretch “up” and “down” in responsibilities
  • Utilize working knowledge of financial statements in thoughtful financial analyses
  • Coordinate ad hoc special projects as required 
Supervisory responsibilities:  Initially, no direct reports.  Significant relationship management across lanes.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree plus 3-6 years of experience at top tier Corp Finance or Corp Strategy dept. desired but not required
    • MBA or advanced degree preferred

    • Complete proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge in other MS Office products
    • VBA, SQL, and/or other programming skills highly desirable but not required
    • Demonstrated ability to be part of a fun, yet hard working team
    • Experience with financial analysis, processes and terminology
    • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with teammates
    • Ability to give advanced notice of planned absences from work, due to the team’s daily and unexpected demands for flawless deliverables
    • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time 
    Language Skills
    Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the
    essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position

    Physical Demands
     
    Physical requirements can vary. These must be reviewed with management. However, in general, the position requires the following physical activities:
    • Ability to lift minimum of 2 pounds to a maximum of 15 pounds unassisted; able to sit for extended periods of time with some standing, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, lifting; moderate range of body motions
    • Ability to use computer and all peripherals for extended periods of time
