Position Description

The HR Business Partner or People Services Manager (PSM) position is an integral member of the leadership team for assigned segments of the business, acting as the trusted advisor on strategic human resources (HR) and other matters which impact business results.  This role will support two divisions with healthcare centers located in the State of Virginia and Washington, DC and surrounding market.  Supporting two Division VPs and a team of Directors with over 2000 teammates, this is a role for a dynamic HR Partner who is savvy at building excellent relationships to drive HR/People Services (PS) initiatives. 

 


Key Responsibilities:<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" />

  • Ensure People Services (PS or HR) activities are aligned with DaVita’s culture, values, and mission, executing on PS strategy to support the needs of the business
  • Partner with other corporate PS functions (e.g., Teammate Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting), acting as internal consultant and strategist to deliver positive business results
  • Ensure adherence to PS policies and compliance with Teammate Relations findings and action plans

Qualifications

Requirements:   

  • Five (5) or more years of HR experience; three (3) years of which must have been in an HR partner/manager position supporting a client group within the business
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Human Resource Management or other related field preferred; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in Organizational Development, Training and Development and Talent Management
  • ·Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) in Human Resources preferred
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time (can be unpredictable/unplanned)
  • Large, multi-site company experience preferred in a Fortune 500.
