Work with IT leadership, product owners, and project
management to determine the architectural approach and patterns to apply to
projects of the highest level of complexity; Interact with other teams, work
with architect peers on other teams, enterprise architects, data integration
architects, and other technical leadership to develop solutions that interact
with other systems efficiently, with good fault isolation, and with appropriate
levels of loose coupling; Design solutions that appropriately balance technical
elegance, business need, project risk, and cost; Lead or participate in
multi-disciplinary, multi-team research and proof of concept activities; Keep
up to date with a wide range of technology trends and be able to explain how
technology trends impact our rapidly developing product suite; Work as the
technical lead on projects, building the overall architecture and design; Guide
the development team throughout the lifecycle and engage on hands-on
development when needed; Participate in code reviews, design reviews,
mentoring, and training activities as required; Perform troubleshooting and
help resolve production support issues as required; Participate in architecture
group meetings across IT to help ensure Falcon Physician technical direction
aligns with broader IT initiatives; Bridge the gap between the different IT
domains such as development, networking, operations, QA, etc. and help develop
and govern middle tier object models and design patterns, interface
