Position Description



Evaluate and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user and business analyst requirements and conform to organizational guidelines as outlined by quality assurance and development initiatives; Recommend improvements and/or corrections to developers; Identify differences between established standards and user applications and suggests modifications to conform to standards; Sets up test cases and scenarios, with user input and based upon test cases and standards set forth by the QA manager to locate and correct program operating errors, development bugs, and ensure proper adherence to work flow of business processes as defined by business analysts and users. Utilize clinical knowledge and Quality assurance experience to work on clinical projects. Analyze clinical requirements and work closely to test them and avoid patient impact. Create SQL test scripts for testing which also involves ensuring correct data flow from local to central servers and vice-versa generated by applications/services and validation of the transferred data. Review requirements and design documents to ensure adequate understanding to test applications in the best manner. Publish daily/weekly project metrics to reflect overall QA progress, Test Case Execution, Defect count and status, Defect Aging Report for stakeholders.

Require a Master Degree or Foreign Degree Equivalent in Information Systems or Clinical Research or related technical field and two years' experience in the job or in related technical occupation.
