GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" />


VillageHealth is currently recruiting for a Portfolio Manager Government Business (VillageHealth), based in Denver, CO. The position is responsible for creating and maintaining the Government Business lane’s clinical and operational roadmap and portfolio management process as part of our strategic planning activities. This high profile position works effectively with leadership across multiple functional areas to drive all teams to execute on business and operational goals. The successful candidate for this role will have a driven attitude, motivated by the achievement of making a direct impact on the projects that they lead, and will flourish in a highly dynamic, cross-functional team environment.

 

The Manager of Government Business will report to the Senior Director, Government Business. In addition, the Manager will work closely with local DaVita leadership (Divisional Vice Presidents, Regional Operations Directors), and partner across VillageHealth leadership and operations in order to implement initiatives to ensure the success of risk-based payor programs across multiple markets.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

  • ·         Create and manage the portfolio roadmap of clinical, operational, and business initiatives to create visibility and drive execution to achieve the government team’s strategic plans
  • ·         Collaborate with the PMO to establish project and program level reporting and dashboards for visibility and portfolio-level decision making
  • ·         Oversee cross-functional programs and initiatives: lead various initiatives on ad-hoc basis; may include working with operational teams on executing pilots and broader initiatives
  • ·         Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams on scoping and valuation of different portfolio project opportunities to determine impact to Government Program financials
  • ·         Implement and manage a product lifecycle framework to ensure most highly-leveraged initiatives reach the market as quickly as possible
  • ·         Develop communication tools to provide transparency on strategy, roadmaps, and pilot/implementation plans and schedules and ensure they are continually maintained
  • ·         Report out on status/progress of portfolio projects to government business team, operations leaders, and senior leadership

Qualifications

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.

  • Bachelor's degree in related area; <?xml:namespace prefix = "o" />
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience: Strategy, portfolio management, consulting, or product management/marketing a plus

·   Strong negotiation, problem-solving, decision making and influencing skills to work with key stakeholders across enterprise, garnering input and buy-in

  • Proven skills in managing complex projects involving multiple departments
  • Proven time management and analytical skills
