Position Description

The platform is scalable to other key populations across the enterprise.


The primary function of this position will oversee the functional design, development, and implementation of our cutting edge nurse portal (a learning, reward, and recognition platform). Upon completion of design and implementation, this position will provide daily production support for the portal, second level support/point of escalation for issues, and help identify potential opportunities to expand functionality or to other populations within DaVita. Long term, this position will help identify other ways to scale and utilize the platform beyond nursing (e.g. an enterprise reward & recognition platform, development portal for FAs, etc). 
 
The primary focus of this position will be to capture business and technical requirements of the platform and work with the team to help drive clarity around the system functionality, prioritize, and resolve any technical conflicts or issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
 
Drive planning and execution of new IT system implementation
  • Prioritize and create focus on getting the right stuff done (Organize, execute, and problem solve as necessary) with significant accountability and ownership
  • Assist in identifying organizational needs and requirements
  • Creation of functional design documents -- Define and document system requirements with strategic partners,  stakeholders, and vendors
  • Support coordination and facilitating all interactions including kick-off meetings, design sessions, and testing sessions both pre- and post- implementation.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to management and stakeholders including but not limited to internal status meeting notes and action items
  • Develop and maintain functional/user documentation
  • Drive requirement validation and verification
  • Oversight of vendor  activities related to configuration of Business Processes or system components
  • Development of testing scripts and execution of testing
  • Troubleshooting issues and delivering solutions
  • Security maintenance
  • Develop and maintain functional/user documentation
  • Data analysis for accuracy and comparisons
  • Re-engineering and development of processes
 
Long Term: Provide daily production support and issue resolution
  • Assist in identifying organizational needs and system requirements
  • 2nd level support of system issues, troubleshooting issues and solving escalated items
  • Data auditing for accuracy
  • Support/troubleshoot integrations between nurse portal and other systems
  • Security maintenance including creation of new security roles
  • Cross-departmental support- support all departments that utilize our HR systems
  • Update content on portal as needed
  • Act as a liaison between end users, functional teams and IT
  • Liaison with the Teammate Support Center to address issues and assist with training
  • Strive for continuous improvement, use program feedback and data to analyze performance, and make recommendations to advance programs

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related degree program
  • 1 year HCM experience (preferably Workday or PeopleSoft)
  • 2 years HRIS experience preferred (or other SaaS Experience)
  • Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel Skills
  • Excellent communication skills (proactive communication of priorities, status, issues, etc.)
  • Ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams
