We are currently seeking a motivated communications manager to join our team in downtown Denver. This manager will support our physician partners by innovating on delivery channels; pioneering a physician-oriented message strategy that consistently maintains brand voice throughout the customer lifecycle; implementing and leading a national communications governance process; consulting on communications best practices across our Village; and continually improving upon our mission to be physicians’ partner of choice. 

    This position also has high visibility with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, and offers a long runway for professional growth and development. As a result, the ideal candidate is ambitious, creative, and results-oriented.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Lead communications strategy and programs to engage physician partners, industry thought leaders, and internal stakeholders, from frontline teammates to senior physician leadership and senior executives.
    • Provide complex communications management, consultation, communications planning, implementation and recommended solutions for multiple business lanes.
    • Build DaVita’s clinical and operational credibility with physician partners by pioneering new message strategies that distill complex topics in to easily-digestible communications.
    • Embody DaVita’s spirit of “All for One, and One for All” in a start-up environment. The communications manager will have end-to-end ownership of all physician-facing communications, including writing, editing, research, design, production, and program management. Ensures work is completed on time and on budget.
    • Coordinate across many stakeholders and subject-matter experts to ensure strategic business objectives are supported through physician communications programs that represent stakeholder perspectives and meet business needs.
    • Report on communications performance metrics, highlight areas for improvement, and act to close gaps.

Qualifications


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and implementing strategic and tactical communications plans, content marketing, or similar roles. 
  • Experience in healthcare industry a plus.
  • Must possess a high level of self-initiative and motivation, driving multiple pieces of work forward simultaneously
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and the constantly changing landscape of the healthcare industry
  • Strong executive presence required, along with the ability to clearly and succinctly convey research/analyses to senior management. Advanced skills creating storylines in PowerPoint and delivering presentations also required.
  • Comfortable structuring ambiguous problems, thinking creatively, generating and testing hypotheses.
