The purpose of this position is to support Collection reporting, analytical, and system development needs to ensure department goals and objectives are achieved, in alignment with DaVita’s Mission and Core Values.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize for internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel, Access, SQL, or other analytical applications
  • Design and initiate data queries and databases, using several data sources
  • Minimum of three (3) years related analytical experience required, including but not limited to:
           Solid data analysis experience
           Project management skills
           Strong communication skills
  • Maintain data integrity of departmental databases and tracking systems and participate in the analysis and interpretation of data as appropriate. 
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of high-level functions within Collections as well as ROPS.
  • Assist in the development of metrics and performance tracking systems.
  • Develop and maintain automated data collection and tracking systems.   
  • Provide support to internal customers through creation, training and maintenance of Access Databases and Excel based tools.
  • Provide analytical support to Collection Teams as requested.
  • Assist in training/mentoring new team members on Access and Excel tools.
  • Act as a liaison to IT when troubleshooting system outages or interruptions.
  • Act as point of contact for planned system outages or upgrades.
  • Provide technical expertise for all IT initiatives impacting Collections.
  • Troubleshoot ODBC connections and database connectivity.
  • Validate report criteria and provide QA to Team Excelsior as requested.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of high-level functions within Collections as well as ROPS.
  • Demonstrate service excellence by providing exceptional customer service to DaVita teammates through timely and accurate responses to requests.
  • Provide recommendations to improve system policies, procedures and performance.
  • Ability to interpret and deliver customer needs.
  • Understand and follow the DaVita teammate handbook, safety and security policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company, contract and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and DaVita policies
  • Participate in team activities that promote DaVita culture and core values.
  • Other duties as assigned by Collections leadership.
  • Develop exception reports for analysis of system and individual performance
  • Strong analytical skills required, including demonstrated understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into functional technical requirements
