Position Description

 

We are actively recruiting a Senior Analyst to join our Corporate Finance Team reporting through the Chief Financial Officer for U.S. Kidney Care.  The team is responsible for financial planning, budgeting and analysis for our U.S. Kidney Care operations and DaVita strategic business initiatives as well as G&A expense management.  Corporate delivers strategic business insights to executives on key elements of the Company’s operations and partners with management on the shorter-term needs of current business units/functional areas.

  • Conduct variance analysis and perform data collection efforts for monthly reporting process
  • Provide customer support and communication to company management on standard reporting, custom reporting, special projects and company initiatives
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support dialysis and ancillary operations as needed
  • Support special projects for the lane including structuring the work, managing the process, driving the right set of analyses and presenting the conclusions to leadership
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:

    • Interface with management across functions within the organization
    • Attend team meetings, phone conferences and training events as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance required, preferably with a top tier management consulting, investment banking or corporate strategy firm
  • Healthcare background preferred
  • Complete proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge in other MS Office products
  • Demonstrated ability to run data analyses with large data sets
  • Demonstrated ability to “think strategically” by blending data analysis with developing insights from the data
  • Strong understanding of business process with the ability to translate business requirements into meaningful reports and to deliver requested output timely and accurately
  • “Self-starter” who is passionate about continuously improving the way DaVita does business
  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguous assignments and adapt easily to a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively throughout all levels of the organization and with audiences with varying levels of familiarity with information
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to give advanced notice of planned absences from work, due to the team’s daily and unexpected demands for flawless deliverables
