PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position provides strategic oversight and
analysis of facilities within assigned Group or geographical area to plan and manage
all aspects of facility maintenance for dialysis centers within area. This position
manages and directs center development and maintenance including but not
limited to project management, renovation construction projects and costs,
capital and operation expense budgets, and maintenance activities for clinical
operations. Position has budget accountability and will be prime to
oversee approximately 30 outsourced individuals in support of DaVita’s facility

supervisory responsibility for recruitment, hiring, retention, performance
development, performance management, teammate relations, salary adjustments,
and termination of direct reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

dialysis facilities; secure bids; review and sign contracts
- Analyze and report
Capital Expenditures variances (actual to plan) for major renovation projects
- Ensure appropriate actions
to anticipate and correct unsatisfactory operating results
- Manage and oversee
selection of vendors including but not limited to painting, carpentry, plumbing,
electrical, mechanical, and HVAC
- Ensure all appropriate
licensing and certifications for operation as a healthcare facility are secured
and processed per deadlines
clinic audits to examine external and internal building structures; evaluate
physical conditions and quality scores
- Identify and implement
maintenance strategies and protocols to maintain buildings and mechanical
reports to all levels of the organization including monthly metrics
in formulation and coordination of annual operating and capital budgets;
monitor budgets for reasonableness and corporate compliance

Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill
the essential duties, include computer skills as required.
degree in related area required; Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) degree
of seven (10) years’ experience in facilities maintenance or project management
of construction projects totaling over $2M/year required
experience managing significant renovation or remodeling projects required;
experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
experience managing construction projects strongly preferred
experience managing maintenance program for a multi-facility company preferred;
experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Minimum of ten (10)
years’ demonstrated experience in one of these areas required: facility
management or construction
- Experience in facility
management, operations and maintenance, clinical engineering, safety and
security, planning, design, and construction and/or environmental management required
of seven (7) years’ experience in a supervisory position required
computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and project
management software required
