DaVita is revolutionizing the care provided to dialysis patients across the country, and this is your chance to be at its center by joining the Clinical Enterprise team.  DaVita Clinical Enterprise is comprised of an innovative team of passionate professionals who aim to address the unique needs of ESRD patients and work to maximize patient quality of life.

 

The Manager, Clinical Innovation, will help drive the development of clinical strategy to improve clinical outcomes and prepare the organization for integrated care.  As a part of the Clinical Enterprise team, this teammate will focus on initiatives and strategic projects that improve DaVita's overall clinical performance in the short and long-term.  The role will work across the office of the chief operating officer, chief medical officer, field operations and other strategic business units. 

 

This role will work on high priority initiatives impacting ~180,000 patients and ~2,600 clinics, and plays a key role as a thought partner, leader, and internal consultant in taking the care provided to ESRD patients to the next level. Topics will likely include:

·         Developing and operationalizing strategies to drive informed patient decisions on dialysis modality

·         Large and small scale operating model changes to drive clinical outcomes across both in-center and home therapies

·         Development of clinical protocols, best demonstrated practices, or tools to address key opportunities to improve clinical outcomes

·         Insight generation through data/process analysis and stakeholder interviews

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·         Works closely with clinical teammates and develops long-standing relationships with operators and clinicians

·         Leverages hypothesis-based approach to identify, validate and quantify opportunities in partnership with clinical and operations leadership

·         Manages the development, piloting, deployment and outcomes of initiatives

·         Creates and implements effective and efficient processes and solutions to further clinical outcomes

·         Conveys findings in a cohesive story, including summarizing insights from analysis

·         Supports and/or leads launch of new initiatives

Up to 25% travel may be required

Qualifications

Qualifications 

 

  • ·At least four years of experience in a clinical, operational, or strategic role; process improvement/ engineering, management consulting, private equity, or corporate strategy experience preferred
  • ·Clinical background and/or experience in clinics and healthcare services preferred (i.e. healthcare services design, services launch, services delivery)
  • ·Strong strategic thinking and problem solving ability balanced with an operations mindset and ability to execute
  • Ability to work effectively, build trust, and partner at all levels of the company – from front line teammates to senior executives and physicians
  • ·Strong project management skills and the ability to proactively manage multiple/changing priorities and deadlines
  • ·Strong executive communication skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
