GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Revenue Operations (ROPS) Capability Development (CD) Trainer role is responsible for the delivery of track training program and identification of skill gaps within their assigned business lane(s) and prioritizing the initiatives to close those skill gaps.  Their efforts will include partnering with the design and development team, overseeing and monitoring the implementation of CD initiatives and implementation and maintenance of Collaboration/Social Learning programs

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

For the business lane(s) assigned to him/her:

  • New Hire Training Track Delivery: Ensure expert delivery and execution of new hire track training which may include: instructor led training, eLearning, side-by-side training, workshops and other learning methods.

    • Deliver new hire track training

    • Observe and coach other educators and adjunct trainers to ensure expert delivery of new hire track training

  • Strategy and Planning: Develop strategy and plans to address capability development gaps

    • Conduct assessments and needs analysis

    • Prioritize with leadership

    • Educate and advise executives on capability development best practices

    • Create and maintain the Curriculum Plan

    • Create and maintain the Collaboration Plan

  • Program/Project Management: Oversee the implementation, execution and review of capability development initiatives

    • Coordinate with leadership, program sponsors and other resources

    • Create and maintain workplans

    • Track metrics and success measures and create action plans

    • Maintain Curriculum and Collaboration Plans

    • Liaise with internal teams and/or external vendors to ensure appropriate support is available

    • Provide regular status reports on assigned initiatives

    • Coordinate with other groups and resources

    • Conduct education campaigns on initiatives

    • Assist with event coordination and logistics as required

    • Travel required: up to 25%

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Education or related area preferred
  • Minimum of four (4) years experience required (combination of one or more of the following):
    • Experience in training needs analysis, curriculum and training design, and training evaluation
    • Experience in instructional design
    • Working knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and Instructional Methodologies
    • Experience in leading performance improvement initiatives
  • Effective training and presentation skills required
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Familiar with revenue operation applications, practices, and procedures preferred
  • Effective planning and management skills
  • Excellence performance improvement skills
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required; basic proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint preferred
