As an Communications and training analyst, your contributions will enable the DaVita Village to give life to our patients and that fuels our teammates to strive for ever greater results.
 
The communications and training analyst will report to the compliance education manager to develop effective internal communications that support corporate compliance goals and initiatives. The role requires strong copywriting and editing skills. It requires both creativity and strong attention to detail. This position sits on the compliance education team and works collaboratively with instructional designers and training analyst(s). He/she will dedicate equal time to communications and training initiatives, including the scripting, testing, delivery and documentation of award-winning compliance courses that are mandatory for over 50,000 teammates at DaVita.
Under the direction of the compliance education manager, the successful communications and training analyst will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 
 
  • Compliance communications
    • Draft internal communications content for targeted emails, newsletters, company intranet, eTVs, and large meetings
    • Act as a liaison between the compliance (Team Quest) and marketing (Mercury) departments to effectively apply internal communications strategies  to compliance content
    • Act as a liaison between compliance (Team Quest) and external teams that coordinate initiatives across various departments
    • Maintain and/or create an overarching annual communication plan for compliance department (Team Quest), as well as smaller communication plans that support specific goals
    • Develop and draft communications that compliment compliance training goals and program
    • Apply change management principles to communications plans about new compliance processes or initiatives
    • Obtain and document leadership and subject matter expert approval of drafted communications
    • Maintain and improve upon record-keeping system for historical compliance communications
  • Quality assurance: compliance training and communications
    • Proofread communications and training storyboards for consistency in style, language and overall design. This candidate may receive on-the-job training to be able to review for instructional soundness.
    • Do side-by-side detailed comparisons of live courses to course storyboards. These storyboards will be included in government reports as exhibits, and need to be both accurate and formatted consistently.
    • Create, deploy, and compile training feedback logs in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint
    • Test training courses for functionality and quality
  • Instructor-led trainings
    • Consult with compliance experts on how to improve content of instructor-led trainings
    • Assist in technical and physical setup
    • Perform software and audio/visual troubleshooting
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Attend team meetings, phone conferences and training as needed
  • Know, understand and follow DaVita teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures

Qualifications

 
 
Required:
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
  • Experience in editing/copywriting
  • Strong proofreading skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word
Preferred:
  • BSc/BA in public relations, communications or relevant field
  • Background and/or change management certification
  • Intermediate proficiency in:
    • Microsoft PPT
    • Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or video editing software
  • Professional experience in training or related field; or study in training or related field
