At DaVita, our culture and traditions grew organically. That was our intention, an authentic culture and tradition isn’t created overnight.

Our leadership team’s focus has been on creating a strong and positive, values-based organization where all levels of the organization have an emotional commitment to its success. The foundation of it all is our Mission, Vision and Core Values. Let’s take the Core Values as an example. Many companies have core values, the difference is that at DaVita we live and breathe them each day. DaVita is committed to elevating the health of our patients in Denver and around the world. We’re proud that patients are satisfied with the quality of care we provide, and that two government programs have rated DaVita highest among all major dialysis providers.

 • 99% of home dialysis patients are satisfied with the quality of care they receive at DaVita. 1   
 • We’ve outperformed the industry in quality ratings for three years in a row. 2  
 • According to the latest government ratings, DaVita Kidney Care operates the highest percentage of four-and five-star centers among all major dialysis providers. 2

  2. According to 2017 data (for the 2015 year) from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS) Five-Star Quality Rating System. Although many DaVita centers outperformed other centers, only certain DaVita centers received a Four- or Five-Star rating.
