This is your time to shine! A recruiter will contact you to discuss your interest in the job and how it might align with your background. If all goes well, the next step is for the recruiter to schedule an interview with you and the hiring manager, or other members of the team. This could be either virtual or in-person, depending on the job. Be ready to discuss your experience and skills, and why you’re interested in working at DaVita. For clinical jobs, you might be asked to visit a local clinic for a job preview, where you'll see a realistic representation of what your job could potentially look like each day.
How to Prepare
How to Prepare
We encourage you to look over the job description and prepare some examples that demonstrate your skills and ability to meet the qualifications listed. We also recommend exploring our website to learn more about DaVita, especially our mission and values. There’s a lot for us to talk about, and don’t forget that this is your chance to interview DaVita too.
Our interviews generally include some behavioral interview questions. Behavioral interviewing is interviewing based on discovering how a candidate acted in a specific employment-related situation. The thought process is that how you behaved in the past will predict how you will behave in the future. The interviewer will want to learn how you have handled work-related situations in the past. TIP: Prepare stories that illustrate times when you have successfully solved problems or performed memorably.
This will be a similar experience to a phone call, only with a video aspect included (in most cases). TIPS: Connect to the meeting a few minutes early to complete your sound and video check. Make sure you are in a well-lit area that is free from distractions. Try to look at the camera as much as possible. If you have trouble connecting, send an email to the recruiter or meeting organizer to let them know.
Step 3: Our Decision Making Process
Once your final interview has been completed, the hiring team will decide what the best choice is for moving forward. You should also take this time to reflect on your interview experience to make sure DaVita is a good fit for you as well. You will be notified either way as to whether or not you have been selected for the job. If you are selected for the job, the hiring manager will notify the recruiter, and the job offer process will be the next step.
