The ideal candidate for this career opportunity will be ambitious, curious, and ready to learn. The person in this position will have a strong sense of "team" and have the keen ability to work well with others. Other characteristics should include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with 2-4 year of experience (internship experience will be considered)
  • Ability/experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc…)
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in PowerPoint
  • A strategic thinker; someone who enjoys asking questions
  • Comfortable analyzing information and communicating findings to different audiences
  • Skilled at evaluating financial statements and identifying financial outliers
  • Experience budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Capable of supporting projects or new initiatives
  • Financial modeling experience a plus, not required
  • Training/Leadership experience a plus, not required
  • Experience supporting finance/operations for a multi-site organization a plus, not required

Here's how you will help as a Financial Analyst at DaVita!

  • Our team supports the financial performance of 400+ locations in the Northeast US. This role will act as a key member of the Group Finance Team as we help our operating partners achieve their financial performance goals
  • Support the Group Finance Team in areas of financial modeling, expense management, financial statement and variance analysis, process improvement, and project management
  • Prepare monthly financial performance results on a monthly basis and deliver findings to Finance and Operations team
  • Assist developing financial models for new and/or expanding facilities
  • Develop presentations and accompanying support for Senior Leaders
  • Identify financial performance outliers and partner with operations team to develop action plans
  • Be a key contributor on special projects/new initiatives
  • Support team with completion of ad-hoc analysis requests; other duties as assigned.
