The ideal candidate for this career opportunity will be ambitious, curious, and ready to learn. The person in this position will have a strong sense of "team" and have the keen ability to work well with others. Other characteristics should include:
- Bachelor’s Degree required with 2-4 year of experience (internship experience will be considered)
- Ability/experience working with cross-functional teams
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc…)
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in PowerPoint
- A strategic thinker; someone who enjoys asking questions
- Comfortable analyzing information and communicating findings to different audiences
- Skilled at evaluating financial statements and identifying financial outliers
- Experience budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Capable of supporting projects or new initiatives
- Financial modeling experience a plus, not required
- Training/Leadership experience a plus, not required
- Experience supporting finance/operations for a multi-site organization a plus, not required

Here's how you will help as a Financial Analyst at DaVita!
- Our team supports the financial performance of 400+ locations in the Northeast US. This role will act as a key member of the Group Finance Team as we help our operating partners achieve their financial performance goals
- Support the Group Finance Team in areas of financial modeling, expense management, financial statement and variance analysis, process improvement, and project management
- Prepare monthly financial performance results on a monthly basis and deliver findings to Finance and Operations team
- Assist developing financial models for new and/or expanding facilities
- Develop presentations and accompanying support for Senior Leaders
- Identify financial performance outliers and partner with operations team to develop action plans
- Be a key contributor on special projects/new initiatives
- Support team with completion of ad-hoc analysis requests; other duties as assigned.
