Patient Care Technician (PCT) Internship: 4-6 Week Rotation

This program provides a practical experience to students interested in working in a clinical setting with dialysis patients. You'll receive supervised training and mentoring, focusing on the comfort and safety of each patient. Students will have the opportunity to connect with dialysis technicians, social workers, dietitians, and DaVita leaders throughout their internship.

What to Expect During Your Clinical Rotation Onboarding with DaVita:

1. School Submits Request

Your school submits a placement request on your behalf.

2. Placement Confirmed

DaVita assigns you to a clinic location.

3. Complete Onboarding

You'll complete a background check, drug screening and required paperwork.

4. Connect with
Clinic

You and the Facility Administrator coordinate yourstart date.

5. Begin Internship Rotations

Complete the required clinical hours for your program.

6. Internship Completed
